So, Ladies and Gentlemen,

these are the two extracts (well the three scenes) that you have to prepare for January...
I know the sound is not so good, but I hope you will be able to listen correctly...

Now, very important matters.

These are the different elements I am going to focus on when I listen to you.

  1. Consonant sounds: th / h / r
  2. Vocalic sounds: the different versions of i, a, u
  3. stressed words and syllables
  4. rhythm and links between words.

In order to train for the day of your exam, listen and underline the stressed words and syllables.

Draw a link between the words which end with a consonant sound and the ones which start with a vocalic sound.

Repeat what you hear, without reading the texts. And repeat again and again.

Good luck.
